Abstract

Stres kerja yang dialami oleh dokter gigi merupakan salah satu akibat ketidakseimbangan antara tuntutan pekerjaan dan kemampuan diri, sehingga memicu menurunnya kondisi mental. Profesi dokter gigi menuntut ketelitian tingkat tinggi dan keterampilan dalam melakukan perawatan gigi. Durasi kerja yang panjang dan postur tubuh yang statis serta canggung, meningkatkan risiko terjadinya keluhan muskuloskeletal dengan keluhan pada struktur tubuh meliputi saraf, tendon, otot, sendi, ligamen, tulang dan sistem sirkulasi darah. Stres kerja berdampak pada keluhan muskuloskeletal melalui efeknya pada psikologis dengan mempengaruhi sistem saraf pusat dan perifer sehingga terjadi ketegangan otot yang meningkatkan risiko keluhan muskuloskeletal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat stress, bagian tubuh yang mengalami keluhan muskuloskeletal, dan hubungan antara keduanya pada dokter gigi. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan dokter gigi di salah satu provinsi di Indonesia. Sebanyak 27 dokter gigi telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Kuesioner stres kerja digunakan sebagai alat ukur dalam mengidentifikasi tingkat stres yang muncul akibat pekerjaan dan Nordic Body Map untuk keluhan muskuloskeletal pada bagian tubuh. Ditemukan sebanyak 63% responden mengalami tingkat stres kerja dengan kategori tinggi dan keluhan muskuloskeletal banyak dikeluhkan pada bagian lengan bawah bagian kanan, punggung, dan leher bagian bawah. Data dianalisis dengan uji korelasi Spearman dan diperoleh nilai p-value 0,001, terdapat hubungan antara stres kerja dan keluhan muskuloskeletal.
