Abstrak

Industri konstruksi di Indonesia tengah berkembang cepat seiring dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan percepatan infrastruktur. Konstruksi berkelanjutan adalah prinsip yang dilakukan untuk meminimalisir dampak negatif dari kegiatan konstruksi. Guna mendukung konstruksi berkelanjutan di Indonesia, maka diperlukan pengetahuan terkini mengenai penerapannya secara komprehensif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui status terkini, hambatan, peluang, dan strategi pada praktik konstruksi berkelanjutan di Indonesia berdasarkan hasil kajian literatur. Tahap pertama pada penelitian ini adalah dengan mengidentifikasi publikasi terkait konstruksi berkelanjutan di Indonesia. Selanjutnya, dilakukan analisis bibliografi serta analisis konten untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian. Hasil diskusi menunjukkan praktik  konstruksi berkelanjutan yang terekam oleh penelitian masih terbatas. Hambatan utama yang terjadi pada penerapan konstruksi berkelanjutan adalah minimnya kompetensi di bidang ini serta biaya yang cukup besar. Strategi utama yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan komitmen pemerintah, baik melalui pemberian insentif untuk mengatasi biaya investasi yang tinggi, juga melalui pembuatan peraturan yang spesifik dan terarah. Hal lain yang juga dapat mendorong praktik konstruksi berkelanjutan di Indonesia adalah dengan manajemen pemangku kepentingan, pelatihan, dan pendidikan bagi para pelaku konstruksi.
