PEER REVIEW PROCESS
All manuscripts submitted to this journal must be in line with its focus and scope, as well as the author guidelines. Submitted manuscripts must be scientifically valuable or original, and must be in line with the focus and scope of the journal.
The review process for examining and evaluating manuscripts/articles is carried out by two reviewers in order to maintain the quality of publications. The review process for each manuscript is conducted through a double-blind peer review system and managed by the editor through the OJS platform. The editor's decision is based on the assessments of both reviewers.
In general, prospective reviewers are selected based on their expertise and reputation in publication quality. The next step is for the editor to send an invitation letter to each prospective reviewer. Once the prospective reviewer confirms their availability for the review process, the review process can begin. Before the review process is carried out, it is not possible for the editor to issue a LoA to the author.
Submitted articles must have a maximum similarity score of 20% before entering the review stage. The review process to publication takes approximately four months.
PUBLICATION FREQUENCY
Humanitas is published three times a year, in April, August, and December.
OPEN ACCESS POLICY
Humanitas ensures that its content is freely available to the public immediately, based on the belief that making research accessible without cost encourages a wider sharing of knowledge worldwide. As an open access journal, all its content is available to users and institutions at no charge. Readers can freely read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or create links to the full text articles without needing permission from the publisher or the authors.

ARCHIVING
This journal uses the LOCKSS system to set up a shared archiving network across libraries that take part, allowing those libraries to build lasting archives of the journal to ensure it can be preserved and restored when needed.

PLAGIARISM
Authors must submit only original work that has not been plagiarized or published elsewhere. All manuscripts should be free of plagiarism, and every submission will be checked for similarity using plagiarism detection software. The editorial team will use tools like Turnitin or similar software to compare the manuscript with existing literature. Submitted articles must have a maximum similarity score of 20%, If a manuscript fails the plagiarism check, it will be sent back to the author for revision. Only those that pass the check will move on to the next stage of the review process.

ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE (APC)
Jurnal Humanitas incurs an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 600,000.00. APC must be paid after the submitted article is accepted for publication.
WITHDRAWAL OF MANUSCRIPT
It is imperative to note that during the review process, authors are prohibited from withdrawing their manuscript. This is due to the fact that such a withdrawal would result in a considerable waste of valuable resources and time for the editors and reviewers who have been assigned to process the submitted manuscript.
