Hubungan antara Kualitas Tidur dengan Suasana Hati pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan

Prevalensi global tentang kualitas tidur buruk dilaporkan mencapai 57% pada tahun 2023. Kualitas tidur buruk dapat menunjukkan reaktivitas amigdala yang menyebabkan rangsangan emosional sehingga membuat suasana hati buruk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mencari hubungan mutu tidur dan perasaan hati pada mahasiswa kedokteran dengan metode analisa komparasi kategorik tidak berpasangan secara potong lintang. Kuesioner PSQI dan POMS-A digunakan untuk menilai kedua variabel diatas, dan hubungan keduanya dinilai secara statistik dengan metode Chi-square. Hasil dari kuesioner tersebut, pada 115 mahasiswa yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi, terdapat 90 orang dengan mutu tidur yang buruk, dan 25 orang dengan mutu tidur yang baik. Pada 90 orang dengan mutu tidur yang buruk, terdapat 72 orang menunjukan perasaan hati negatif dan sisanya 18 orang mempunyai perasaan hati positif. Hubungan kedua variable tersebut menunjukan kebermaknaan dengan nilai p=0,001 dan OR 10,286. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa mahasiswa dengan kualitas tidur yang buruk, akan mengalami 10,2 kali lebih sering merasakan suasana hati negatif dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa dengan suasana hati positif.Downloads
