Peran Mediasi Strength Use antara Strength-Based Parenting dan Subjective Well-Being pada Masa Emerging Adulthood

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran mediasi strength use dalam hubungan antara strength-based parenting dan Subjective Well-Being pada masa emerging adulthood. Subjective Well-Being diukur melalui Satisfaction With Life Scale dan Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE). Penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei ini melibatkan 459 responden emerging adulthood berusia 18-24 tahun, yang didominasi perempuan (81.9%) dan berpendidikan SMA (64.05%). Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner daring dan dianalisis dengan path analysis menggunakan metode bootstrapping. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa strength-based parenting secara langsung dan signifikan memengaruhi Life Satisfaction (β = 0.152, p < .001) dan SPANE (β = 0.215, p < .001). Strength Use juga memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Life Satisfaction (β = 0.233, p < .001) dan SPANE (β = 0.221, p < .001). Lebih lanjut, Strength Use secara signifikan memediasi hubungan Antara Strength-Based Parenting dengan Life Satisfaction (efek tidak langsung = 0.106, p < .001) dan SPANE (efek tidak langsung = 0.101, p < .001). Ini mengindikasikan mediasi komplementer, di mana Strength-Based Parenting masih memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan, namun sebagian efeknya juga dimediasi oleh Strength Use. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya strength-based parenting dan peran Strength Use dalam meningkatkan  Subjective Well-Being individu emerging adulthood.
