Peran Dukungan Sosial dan Kecemasan Karier Terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Final Year Students Generasi Z

Abstrak

Mahasiswa tingkat akhir (final year students) generasi Z menghadapi tantangan dalam menyiapkan diri memasuki dunia kerja, termasuk tekanan akademik dan kecemasan karier. Kesiapan kerja terbentuk dari pengaruh faktor internal dan eksternal, seperti dukungan sosial dan kecemasan karier, namun penelitian sebelumnya belum menjelaskan dinamika ketiganya. Studi ini dilakukan untuk menelaah peran dukungan sosial dan kecemasan karier terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa tingkat akhir generasi Z. Penelitian ini melibatkan 430 mahasiswa (usia 19–25 tahun) yang dipilih melalui convenience sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner Work Readiness Scale, Career Anxiety Scale, dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, dianalisis dengan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menemukan dukungan sosial berpengaruh positif signifikan, sementara kecemasan karier berpengaruh negatif lebih kuat. Kecemasan karier menjadi penghambat utama, sedangkan dukungan sosial berperan sebagai pendorong kesiapan kerja. Intervensi psikososial dan konseling karier direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa.
