Languishing, Moderate, atau Flourishing? Gambaran Kesehatan Mental pada Lansia Berdasarkan Mental Health Continuum-Short Form

Abstrak

Populasi lanjut usia (lansia) di Indonesia terus tumbuh, namun usia panjang tidak menjamin kesehatan mental yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan gambaran kesehatan mental lansia berusia 60 tahun ke atas menggunakan Mental Health Continuum-Short Form (MHC-SF) yang mengklasifikasikan kesehatan mental menjadi flourishing, moderate, dan languishing. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan deskriptif. Melalui purposive sampling, diperoleh 215 lansia berusia 60–87 tahun (M = 67,42; SD = 6,18) yang diukur dengan MHC-SF (α = .89; ω=0.87). Mayoritas partisipan berada pada kategori moderate (54.4%; n = 117), diikuti flourishing (38.1%; n = 82) dan languishing (7.4%; n = 16). Di antara ketiga dimensi, kesejahteraan emosional memperoleh rerata tertinggi (M = 3.75), diikuti kesejahteraan psikologis (M = 3.67) dan kesejahteraan sosial (M = 3.23). Uji independent samples t-test dan one-way ANOVA menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan kesehatan mental yang signifikan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, kelompok usia, maupun pendidikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan sebagian besar lansia berada di zona tengah yang berpotensi dikembangkan menuju flourishing, sehingga diperlukan intervensi yang menyasar dimensi kesejahteraan sosial.
