Instruments used in this study, SWLS & SPANCE and Young Internet Addiction Questionnaire, were modified by the researchers. The results revealed that there were a significant negative correlation between subjective well – being cognitive component (SWLS) and internet addiction, a significant positive correlation between subjective well – being negative affect component (SPANE – N) and internet addiction, and no significant correlation between subjective well – being positive affect component (SPANE – P) and internet addiction.
