Abstrak

Memilih karier menjadi suatu hal yang penting bagi mahasiswa karena berkarir tidak hanya sebatas memilih pekerjaan untuk mencukupi kebutuhan hidup tetapi juga menjadi menjadi sarana untuk mengaktualisasikan diri Agar mahasiswa mampu mengaktualisasikan kemampuannya secara optimal maka proses ekplorasi karir dan pemilihan karir yang tepat menjadi hal yang penting. Mahasiswa yang berada di masa akhir dari proses pendidikannya perlu memiliki career search efficacy sehingga mereka memiliki keyakinan diri untuk dapat melakukan ekplorasi karir secara tepat sehingga akhirnya dapat memilih pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan konsep dirinya. Terbentuknya career search efficacy salah satunya dipengaruhi dukungan sosial. Dukungan sosial yang utama banyak didapatkan dari orang tua dan teman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial dari orang tua dan teman terhadap career search efficacy mahasiswa di Jawa Barat. Jumlah Partisipan sebanyak 210 orang dengan rentang usia 18-25 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan dari orang terdekat yakni orangtua dan teman memiliki pengaruh terhadap career search efficacy mahasiswa di Jawa Barat (p<0.05, R2 = 0.113).
