Model Productive Parenting pada Remaja di Kota Bandung

Abstrak

Orang tua adalah figur penting bagi anak dan memiliki peran untuk membentuk karakter anak. Saat anak beranjak remaja, orang tua pun perlu menyesuaikan pola asuh yang diberikan. Pola asuh yang menjadi fokus penelitian adalah productive parenting, yang merupakan pola asuh dengan kehangatan, penerimaan, kontrol yang tegas dan jelas, memberikan tuntutan sesuai dengan usia anak, responsif dan menjadikan anak sebagai prioritas utama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model faktor productive parenting sebagai suatu konstruk, berdasarkan integrasi dari aspek high parental acceptance and warmth, moderate to high restrictiveness, insistance on mature behavior(demand), high responsiveness dan high positive involvement. Kemudian, ditambahkan parental modeling sebagai aspek penting dari productive parenting. Modeling dari orang tua merupakan salah satu peran penting yang perlu dilakukan orang tua untuk membantu membentuk perilaku remaja. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan dari 816 responden, teknik analis data Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA bahwa aspek High parental acceptance and Warmth, moderate to high restrictiveness, Insistance on mature behavior (demand), High responsiveness, High positive involvement dan Parental modeling, merupakan konstruk dari productive parenting.
