Determinan Resiliensi Keluarga pada Orang Tua: Trait dan Positivity

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran trait terhadap resiliensi keluarga, dengan mediator positivity. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Kuesioner yang digunakan adalah The Big Five Inventory (BFI), kuesioner positivity dan kuesioner family resilience. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah Hayes PROCESS model 4. Jumlah responden penelitian 272 orang tua, dengan rata-rata usia 44 tahun, dan sebagian besar perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa positivity (emosi positif dan negatif) berperan sebagai mediator antara kelima jenis trait orang tua (neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness, dan conscientiousness terhadap resilensi keluarga.  Trait akan memiliki peran yang lebih besar terhadap resiliensi keluarga jika dimediasi oleh emosi positif dan emosi negatif. Emosi positif akan meningkatkan tingkat resiliensi keluarga, sedangkan emosi negatif akan menurunkan tingkat resiliensi keluarga. Hanya saja emosi positif memiliki dampak yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan emosi negatif sebagai mediator antara trait terhadap resiliensi keluarga. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya derajat stres para responden dapat menjadi variabel penting yang diperhatikan untuk menggambarkan adversity yang dihadapi oleh orang tua.
