Schwartz Value dan Perma Well-Being pada Dewasa Awal

Abstrak

PERMA Well-Being merupakan konsep multi-dimensi yang tidak hanya berfokus pada Hedonic ataupun Eudamonic, melainkan gabungan dari keduanya. Dalam modelnya, Seligman mengidentifikasi 5 dimensi yang terkait dengan Well-being, yaitu Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationship, Meaning dan Accomplishment. Hasil analisis data mengenai korelasi antara masing-masing Schwartz Value dan dimensi PERMA: Multidemensional Framework of Well-being yang diperoleh melalui 495 responden menunjukkan bahwa antara masing-masing Schwartz Value dan dimensi PERMA: Multidemensional Framework of Well-being pada individu dewasa awal memiliki hubungan yang cenderung lemah Jika dilihat dari dimensi-dimensi PERMA maka tampak bahwa dimensi yang paling tinggi adalah Engagement dan dimensi yang paling rendah dalah dimensi Positive Emotion dan Meaning. Gambaran Schwartz Values pada individu dewasa awal dengan beragam latar belakang budaya adalah Hedonism yang merupakan value teratas dan value yang berada dikeurutan paling bawah adalah Power. Untuk penelitian berikutnya disarankan untuk menempatkan Schwartz Value sebagai moderator dari pembentukan atau meningkatan PERMA Well-being.Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan tidak hanya fokus pada 5 dimensi PERMA Well-being tetapi juga faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kesejahteraan seperti flow, gratitude, dan happiness untuk mendapatkan analisis yang lebih komprehensif terkait PERMA Well-being.
