As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in comments to the Editor)
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • To support the Blind Review process, make sure to remove the author's name and support information from the article that was sent.

SRJD published an original copy of articles research manuscript that are: 1) written based on research or field study, 2) written based on the design process, and 3) book reviews that are written with the minimum of 20 references.

Preparing for Submission

  • The Authors grant the first copyright ownership of the published manuscript to Maranatha Christian University as the publisher.
  • The manuscript should be sent in MS Word documents and PDF documents to the Editorial of SRJD.
  • Submission of the manuscript should be done online by logging in as a registered user of SRJD. Authors should register as a user of SRJD beforehand to precede the submission. For further question, prospective authors may contact us via email address: srjd@maranatha.edu

Language

SRJD accepts manuscripts written in Bahasa or English in the form of scholarly articles or research.

Title
Only a concise and informative title should be included. Please remove information about the authors' names and affiliations for the double-blind review process.

Abstract
A manuscript must include an abstract in both Indonesian Language and English. Abstract containing no more than 300 words. It should indicate the introduction, research method, and summarize the most important results.

Length of a Manuscript

SRJD accepts manuscripts with a minimum length of 10 pages and must not exceed 24 pages. The file size is less than 5 MB.

Keywords

Keywords are words or phrases in the form of concepts, perspectives, theories, problems and actors as the focus of the script. Maximum Keywords are five words, written in alphabetical order, separated by a semicolon.

References
The list of references should only include works that are cited in the text and that have been published or accepted for publication. Everything cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and everything in your reference list must be something you have referred to in text. The 7th edition APA system of referencing should be used accordingly to this reference guide.  We advised authors to use reference manager software (such as: Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote) to generate references. Minimum 80% of the references should be recent (up to date) journals published in the last 10 years, but the rest of 20% references can be cited from reference books, research report (thesis, dissertation thesis), internet source, etc.  Some citation examples are shown below:
