Abstrak

Setiap mahasiswa akan mengeksplorasi berbagai bidang karir dan juga diri agar menemukan pekerjaan yang diinginkan dan sesuai dengan kepribadiannya. Eksplorasi karir inilah yang disebut dengan career search efficacy. Proses eksplorasi karir ini diharapkan dapat mempercepat proses seseorang untuk melakukan career adaptability. Career adaptability inilah yang dapat membantu seseorang dalam menghadapi karir yang belum pasti dan peran yang masih ambigu dalam waktu tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji sejauh mana career search efficacy berperan terhadap career adaptability pada mahasiswa. Career adaptability merupakan kapasitas penting untuk menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja yang dinamis, dan diyakini dipengaruhi oleh sejauh mana individu percaya diri dalam mengeksplorasi dunia karir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana pada 103 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa career search efficacy berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap career adaptability dengan kontribusi sebesar 43,6% (R² = 0,436; p < 0,001). Temuan ini memperkuat kerangka teori career construction dan mengimplikasikan pentingnya peningkatan efikasi eksplorasi karir dalam layanan bimbingan karir di pendidikan tinggi.
