Peran Resiliensi dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Subyektif pada IRT Penuh Waktu yang Mengalami Burnout

Abstrak

Kesejahteraan seorang ibu rumah tangga (IRT) penuh waktu memiliki peranan yang sangat penting bagi semua anggotanya, yaitu mencakup kesejahteraan emosional dan fisik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan IRT penuh waktu yang mengalami burnout dan berdampak terhadap kesejahteraaan keluarga. Banyak perempuan berpendidikan tinggi meninggalkan pekerjaan dan memutuskan menjadi IRT penuh waktu. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu, IRT penuh waktu mengalami burnout akibat rutinitas baru. Burnout disebabkan oleh pekerjaan rumah tangga dan pengasuhan anak yang tidak pernah selesai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sehingga mengakibatkan kelelahan fisik dan psikis. Resiliensi merupakan kemampuan untuk bangkit kembali dalam mengatasi stres.  Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel, yaitu resiliensi sebagai variabel bebas dan kesejahteraan subyektif ibu sebagai variabel terikat.  Kedua alat ukur tersebut adalah Subjective Well-being for Mother (SWBM) dan Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC). Metode kuantitatif korelasional digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Kuesioner disebarkan kepada 317 IRT yang sebelumnya bekerja minimal enam bulan dan masih memiliki anak usia sekolah. Burnout dapat terjadi pada IRT penuh waktu mana pun tanpa memandang usia, pendidikan, dan status sosial ekonomi. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa resiliensi memberikan dampak yang baik bagi IRT penuh waktu yang mengalami burnout untuk memperoleh kembali kesejahteraan dirinya.
